- FIR against Bharat Tiwari’s father, brother, and a village head (mukhiya) – Police registered a case against them in connection with events following the encounter.
- Road-block protest FIR – A separate FIR was filed against 14 named persons and around 50 unidentified people for allegedly blocking a highway while protesting the encounter.
